The fee depends on the size of the delivery area and the number of items delivered. The fee will be transferred to your account monthly after invoicing. Further information will be provided in a personal meeting with the area manager.

You can travel with an experienced delivery partner at any time in order to get to know the area and to assess the costs associated with the delivery activity.

You must provide your own resources. In many cases, you will need your own vehicle (car, moped) for delivery, and delivery by bicycle is also possible in urban areas.

The fee already covers all expenses for the use of your own equipment. In areas with greater distances, a higher fee is paid. All expenses are tax deductible.

The products are generally made available for collection near the distribution area. Please contact your area manager for further information.

As an independent delivery partner, you are responsible for arranging your own coverage. However, Medienbote can assist you in organizing coverage. In emergencies, Medienbote will take over the agreed-upon service.

It fall no special costs to start the activity, apart from the possible costs of using your own resources (e.g. own car).

As a delivery partner, you are responsible for your own tax and social security obligations. Your individual circumstances will determine whether you are subject to social security and/or tax obligations. You can obtain more detailed information in a personal consultation with the regional manager or from the relevant tax office or social security institution.

We conclude a work contract with you. The work contract is the legal basis for the cooperation between self-employed entrepreneurs and the company.

You can terminate the work contract at any time subject to a specific notice period.

Depending on the size of the area and the number of products to be delivered, the working times vary between 1.5 and 4 hours. However, your individual needs will be taken into account.

The limits for additional earnings vary depending on your status (e.g., students, pensioners, unemployed). You can obtain more detailed information in a personal consultation with the regional manager or from the relevant tax office or social security institution.

In Styria, Carinthia, and East Tyrol, daily newspapers are delivered 7 days a week. However, an area may also be served jointly with another delivery partner.
